In Philosophy, I encountered the term "zeitgeist", a German word meaning "the spirit of the time".
It is when people are influenced by the set of ideals that is prevalent in society. People adapted what is popular in that period of time.
During the past years, zeitgeist would be yellowism... Influential people with substantial following were amenable to what the liberals were doing and preaching.
They ruled.
Then the situation has changed, zeitgeist has changed too...it is now the spirit of change.
Psychologist called this situationism which is similar to the zeitgeist theory.
When these two are combined: zeitgeist and situationism, the leadership produced is called interactional... which I think is best practiced by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Today is the zeigeist of change... it is a situation of change too. The spirit of this time is clear: CHANGE of SITUATION!
