A Tribute to my Late Friend Apmech
After The Storm by Debby Turner
as sang by Allshookup
1)Your heart can't be broken,
It only feels that way,
You're afraid and lonely,
Don't worry I will stay.
2) You say it feels awful
to watch your world collapse.
You need to see tomorrow.
Believe this storm will pass.
CHORUS:
This wind in your eyes
will end tonight
With mystical mornings,
Crystal clear mornings... After the Storm.
3) The darkest clouds are breaking,
make way for other times.
No heart aching,
watch summer storms subside.
Lift your hands to the heavens.
Thank you Debby for supplying me the lyrics. This is very much appreciated.
My Friend Apmech (Jess)
Jess had left the world three months ago without my knowledge. He has a beautiful You Tube channel to which I sourced my Pilipino music in my blog Nostalgia para Filipiniana.
I made friend with Jess through his video clips in You Tube. Like what I said in my You Tube profile, there are friends at the end of the channel.
He was one of those helpful You Tubers and another appreciative gentleman I have had known in this musical website. Besides being a gentleman, he was also very humble by turning down my proposal about my plan in featuring him in my Personality Blog, the Tableau Vivant and he suggested names instead.
He was my very first Filipino friend I knew who posted beautiful Pilipino old songs and folk dances with beautiful graphics at You Tube.
Jess, may you rest in peace my brother friend. Thank you for your kind friendship, your able help and the respect you showed me. May your family also find comfort in God's promised with strength and health to sustain them in your absence.
To your family, Wife, and children, please accept my belated Condolence.

I wish I can
I really wish there is someplace, somewhere I can shout to the top of my lungs and say, "I'm angry!"
Oftentimes, when something displeases me or causes me to get upset, I just bottle it up and let tears roll down my face unashamedly. I couldn't careless. Nobody is around to see me crying anyway.
I wish no one will tell me that I'm "goody-goody" and when my moment comes, I am right away condemned and my imperfection not taken.
I wish some particular people will see me that I am human, capable of my own human emotion. That I am capable of getting hurt, sensitive and onion skin. That I can make mistakes; not that I'm a murderer, a covetous person, a robber and what else. Trivial mistake which is ridiculous to become a big deal enough to get cold shoulder from friends whom I thought are friends.
I wish there is a place where I can hide away. Just run and hide away. Run, run, run.
I just wish that my day today will have a happy ending after a terrible dream of war last night, in fact, not really night but early in the morning when I went back to sleep. I dreamed of a horrible war with smokey dust clouds from somewhere and the deafening sound of bombs and gunshots and war planes and I was down there on a trench all alone by myself. I couldn't fathom where everybody was gone running. I heard their hasty scary feet running and their voices screaming eerily but I saw no one.
Then my eyes opened and realized, it was all but a bad dream. A nightmare.
Addendum:
Some comforting words from Happy Guy. Though the above was posted yesterday, 29th April, I decided to insert it here, where it is appropriate.

Sometimes we wait for our ship to come in. Sometimes we work very hard to haul that ship in to shore. Sometimes … sometimes, it doesn’t matter; for all our efforts, the bay is just to shallow.
Don’t mope about the ship that won’t come in. Take a smaller boat. You can sit there and cry, stuck ashore, or you can row yourself out to sea. It’s really up to you.

What am I doing?
Sleepless in Australia. I was supposed to be feeling tired after a long stroll at Liverpool, I call Mecca of Sydney, with my daughter half a day, today.
Part of the conversation with my daughter was when she mentioned to me as we walked on the road that the New Britain Got Talent got a lovely matured lady singing and my daughter cried at the end of the show when Susan got approval from the three judges and asked her to come back to the show.
When we returned home to her unit, I call apartment, she switched on the TV for the news. It didn't take long when the newsreader featured the Britain Got Talent's Susan Boyle. The long and loud applause and standing ovation from the audience had really took my breath away.
Tonight, after few sms exchange with a very good friend and saying Nite, nite to each other, I just could not go to sleep at all. So I got up and booted the computer, checked email, updating blogs, many of them, and doing bit of this and bit of that. I did not let my cats deter me from doing what I am doing.
They sleep, they wake up, they play and am still here. I have done my online jigsaw puzzle and almost finish all the pictures in the gallery of jigzone and am still here. So I decided to do You Tube and typed in the search engine: Susan Boyle Britain Got Talent.
Lo and behold, there are so many postings there. You do your homework if you are interested because there are hundreds of fantastic postings just for her alone!
I commented and rated 5 stars to each post which is just literally the same episode.
The Australian Newsreader dabbed her as someone with unsophisticated look but has a "royal voice".
At first, the audience including the judges were cynical and rowdy towards her. And what a way to silence critics indeed the very moment she belted her dream. And when she started singing, boy, how Susan wowed them all. She sang "I Dream a dream" from the broadway musical 'Les Miserables'.
It was a very impressive rendition that gained her many standing ovations. She walked away right after she finished singing and Amanda said, "Oi" and the other judge said, "Come back!".
Ah, watch it for yourself. And you are authorized to add more to say.
Because I really enjoyed watching Susan and her funny antics with the judges. I can't also help feeling amused looking at the facial expressions of the two gentlemen and best of all Amanda's obvious look of surprise and delight as she sang.
Maybe I can go to sleep now. Imagine am still up at 5.10am Australian Eastern Standard Time. Go to sleep! Who? Me?
Nite, nite everyone!
The cats are awake now demanding their early morning feed!

Song From Memory 2
Courtesy by www.youtube.com/65Reasons
Wow, it's already 1.40am here, Tuesday, March 24th. I'm still pretty much hooked up in You Tube, listening to another song from memory.
Hmmmm... Grade 5 this time. In the same school as mentioned on my blog before this. My teacher then was Mrs Placida dela Cruz Laroya. I didn't like her. She was biased and played favouritism. She was our Home Economics teacher.
There was this boy in the class who always sang this song. I only remember his family name, Yanoc from Dangulaan, a barrio of Karomatan.
I love going back in time where life was simple. Primitive it was but full of honest fun, fresh air, fresh food, unpolluted living and children had plenty of good manners and behaved with the right conduct.
Bring back the old-fashioned life! No internet, no techno ..no war ...
